Jumat, 25 Agustus 2017 Perkumpulan Keluarga Berencana Indonesia (PKBI) Cabang Bantul gelar workshop terkait Website dan Sosial Media yang ditunjukan kepada komunitas remaja yang ada di Bantul. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengajak remaja agar lebih bijak menggunakan internet khususnya media dan sosial media. Bertempat di kantor PKBI Cabang Bantul sebanyak 23 remaja perwakilan dari beberapa komunitas hadir dalam acara ini.
Dalam workshop ini, para remaja juga diajak untuk menyebarkan tulisan mengenai Kesehatan Reproduksi lewat Website dan Sosial Media mengingat remaja Indonesia lebih menyukai membaca melalui internet. Para remaja di Indonesia sendiri masih sangat tabu untuk berbicara mengenai Kesehatan Reproduksi sehingga banyak dari mereka telah melakukan hubangan seksual dan mengabaikan bahaya dari seks bebas itu sendiri. Selain itu para remaja di ajarkan untuk membuat website instan menggunakan WordPress dan juga diberikan pemahaman tentang dampak-dampak negatif dalam penggunaan sosial media.
Rangkaian acara dalam workshop ini diharapkan dapat menyadarkan para remaja khususnya remaja Bantul betapa pentingnya menyebarkan informasi-informasi mengenai Kesehatan Reproduksi melalui internet.
